JasonV5.0 out of 5 starsThis thing is a Monster!October 11, 2018Style: Graphics CardSize: XC GamingVerified PurchaseFirst off I’ve always been ATI/AMD guy. The last Nvidia card I purchased was a 8800 GT. With that said this card runs any game I have at 60fps + @ 4K full settings. Everything is so smooth it crazy. I didn’t like the price, but the benchmarks were showing pretty much double the performance of my old Fury X (and that’s what I’m experiencing) .
So I made the leap and don’t regret it! Especially considering all the 1080 ti cards were just as much or more than I paid for the 2080. I really miss not having a water cooler on my card, but EVGA has done a great job with their heat sink and fan configuration. Default my temp were higher than I like (77C) but quiet. So with some tweaking I brought the temps down 10C without being too loud for my taste. Hopefully Nvidia’s new tech bears some fruit down the road, but for me it sounds mostly like fluff. Thanks for a great card EVGA & Nvidia (but lower your price Nv!)!!

Cody Pudlish4.0 out of 5 starsAwesome card to ownOctober 11, 2018Style: Graphics CardSize: XC GamingVerified Purchase Incredible performance! The packaging was nice. Playing games like Players Unknown’s BattleGrounds and getting well over 60fps at ultra settings with temps at 55c. The RGB light on the side it’s very cool.Overall good card. Didnt get 5 stars because the EVGA software does not work with 2080s. The fans will not spin under their software. Only Msi afterburner beta Works to get this cards fans spinning.
Amazon Customer5.0 out of 5 starsAmazing card, but wait a few months till you buy itDecember 12, 2018Style: Graphics CardSize: UltraVerified PurchaseThis card really is impressive, I’ve put every high end game to the test and honestly I miss seeing a number below 60FPS. But there is 1 problem, games that use Unreal Engine can’t quite keep up with this card. Yes, you heard me correct.
This card is so advanced that games using Unreal engine will crash. In order to fix this I had to underclock my card. And 1 warning to those who buy this card, the fans will not run until the card reaches 60C. In theory this is good, but sometimes the fans just won’t run even over 60C. You have to install a driver only for this card to take that setting off, NVIDIA Precision.

RonJon7155.0 out of 5 starsReally Amazon? No bubble filler AT ALL?November 16, 2018Style: Graphics CardSize: XC GamingVerified PurchaseI can order a pizza cutter and the package will come fully loaded w/ bubble filler but, apparently an $800 graphics card isn’t worthy of the same treatment. Get it together.
UnholyV3nd3tta5.0 out of 5 starsAmazing results from an amazing GPU.December 29, 2018Style: Graphics CardSize: UltraVerified PurchaseLet me start off by saying that I went from using a GTX 750ti to this beast of a card so for me, I have seen a HUGE difference in performance. Now, I have read a lot of reviews on this card vs the 1080ti and even the 2080ti and I have to say, I’m glad i went with this particular one.
With DX12 and the Ray Tracing technology that will hopefully be becoming very relavent in the future I’d much rather go with the card that can support the future of gaming. I didn’t get the 2080ti for the fact that I didn’t want to pay 1200 bucks for a card, 800 was enough.

Overclocks very well! I run +100mhz on the GPU and +1000mhz on the memory and with all the other sliders to max, this card boosts up to 2160MHz with a 72*(Fahrenheit – ‘merica!) room and in a case!
Fans can be ran pretty ran pretty high before they become audible. With a fan curve tuned for noise, the GPU gets up to 65* during heavy gaming. Plastic shroud isn’t the best and the light from the LED looks a little weird. The cooler and card overall aren’t built near as heavy as my old 1070 ti was, but GPU sag with this 2080 isn’t really an issue, so maybe thats why.
Overall, would highly recommend this GPU! I have this monitor paired with an LG 34″ 2560×1080 144hz G-sync monitor and this card (finally) makes full use of the FPS with triple digits in every title I’ve played so far. Also the 2560×1080 is a lighter load with RTX on. This GPU paired with that monitor is perfect for a no compromise gaming pc! Triple digit FPS with all settings maxed out all the time!
System Specs; 9900k up to 5500MHz – 16GB 4133mhz Ram – Asus Maximus X Hero z370 – 750w EVGA PSU.
TimeSpy = 13104
TimeSpy Extreme = 5997
Rise of the Tomb Raider Benchmark = 124 FPS (2560×1080 MAX settings, motion blur off)
