Shrikhand is a traditional sweet from Maharashtra. It is prepared from hung curd, often called as chakka in Marathi. It is usually flavoured with saffron, nutmeg, cardamom, almonds and pistachios.

Pinch of Saffron

Pinch of Nutmeg Powder

2 Kg Yogurt

1/6 Cup Sucralose

4 Tbsp Warm Milk

1/8 Tsp Green Cardamom Powder

12 Almonds Blanched, Peeled & Sliced

21 Pistachios Blanched, Peeled & Sliced


After ready with above all required ingredients for Sugar Free Kesari Shri Khand. First we tie the Yogurt in a piece of muslin cloth. Hang it overnight over a bowl in a fridge to drain then transfer it into a bowl. Add the Sucralose then mix very well. Now we soak the Saffron in warm milk. Wait till cool by itself. Add to the yogurt mixture. Mix very well. Add the Nutmeg Powder & Cardamom Powder. Mix very well. Chill in refrigerator.

The almond is native to the Mediterranean climate region of the Middle East, from Syria and Turkey eastward to Pakistan.
